Director General’s Office
The Unit is headed by the Director General of the Hospital who is in charge of coordinating all the activities within the hospital, lead the management committee and represent the hospital.
Administration and Finance Unit
The Administration and Finance Unit is leading Rwamagana Level II Teaching Hospital administrative duties, coordinating daily operational functions, streamlining management systems, monitoring budgets, supervising managers, improving business efficiency, requesting audits, and analyzing financial data.
Nursing and Midwifery Unit
The Nursing and Midwifery Unit oversees and evaluating all nursing personnel (registered nurses, Midwives.) Guiding staffing procedures Setting objectives and long-term goals for the nursing department while create a collaborative and efficient workplace with attention to quality standards and policies. There, all personnel will be able to do their best in caring for patients.
Allied Health Sciences Unit
Medical and Allied Health Sciences Unit is responsible for overseeing and developing an organization’s clinical departments through tasks such as hiring, evaluating, scheduling, and supervision. These professionals must come up with strategies to allow for continued growth and provide clinical training to their staff and interns
Quality Assurance Management Unit
The Director of Quality Assurance Management oversees quality improvement, patient safety, regulatory compliance, performance monitoring, and continuous enhancement of healthcare services to ensure high standards of patient care.
Medical Services Unit
The Director of Medical Services is responsible for overseeing all clinical and medical operations to ensure the delivery of high-quality, safe, and effective healthcare services in the hospital.
Education and Research Unit
The Director of the Education and Research Unit in a hospital oversees staff training, continuous professional development, and capacity building for healthcare workers. They coordinate and supervise medical research, ensure ethical standards, and promote evidence-based practice to improve patient care. They also build partnerships with training institutions, monitor education and research quality, and manage related programs and resources.
Corporate Services Division
The Division Manager in the hospital is mainly responsible for ensuring that all non-clinical services run efficiently so that medical teams can focus on patient care.
