All Rwandans, regardless of gender, sexual orientation, age, religion, cultural belief, or disability are equally entitled to receive health services to promote and maintain good health.

Right to Care;
Right to privacy and confidentiality;
Right to information;
Right to choice;
Right to dignity and respect;
Right to complaints;
Right to refuse treatment;
Right to pain management;
Right to security and safety;

B. YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE:

To take care of your own health
To access and use the health system properly and not abuse it
To respect the rights of health providers and other patients
To provide health care providers with relevant and accurate information about your health condition
To follow all instructions and adhere to treatments prescribed
To ensure that you have the means to pay for all services delivered
